Hot spring mineral waters flow abundantly all day and all night long, so you can enjoy this pure hot spring at any time. * You can bathe any time, including early in the morning or late at night, except between 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. when the baths are cleaned.

Lodge type bath

The ceiling with its thick beams gives an air of openness to this indoor bath. Greenery can be seen through the high window. You can go to the outdoor bath directly from the indoor bath.

About Iwama Onsen

Iwama Onsen is a hot spring that rises very close to the fountain tower, a Special Natural Monument. It produces hot, abundant onsen mineral water.

An open-air bath is located at the source of Iwama Onsen’s hot spring, which is one hour’s walk from Yamazaki Ryokan. It is a different and expansive world in the mountains. Nearby, there is a mountain hut for resting and a place for boiling eggs in the hot spring.
